AtlasIED Expands its IP Endpoints Family
AtlasIED has expanded its IPX Series of
IP endpoints to address the needs of
various environments seeking comprehensive,
reliable mass communication and
public-address solutions. The IPX Series
delivers a range of coverage options by
offering a variety of IP endpoint solutions
to enhance a facility's existing VoIP or SIP
communications platform for routine and
emergency use. With the introduction of
the first outdoor-specific endpoint and
the first Android phone console in the
IPX family, integrators have the required
form factors for a single-brand, cohesive,
dependable, campus-wide communication
system. The IP-APX is an IP-56 rated,
weather-resistant, constant-directivity
loudspeaker that features a high-output
horn for clear, intelligible sound in any
outdoor environment. The
IP-CONSOLE-GH is the first IPX endpoint
to offer an Android phone from which
users can deploy prerecorded or live
announcements by zone or throughout a

Shown in 2K and 4K configurations, as
well as a 16x9 layout, the B- and C-Series
of direct-view LED videowalls provide
crisp and detailed large-screen messaging
and immersive visual experiences. The
C-Series is optimized for displaying images
with incredible contrast, and it's used in
environments such as corporate lobbies,
showrooms, museums and boardrooms.
The B-Series, which was recently honored
with a 2022 Display Industry Award for
" Display Application of the Year " from
the Society of Information Display, suits
bright images. It's used in lobbies and
on virtual sets and production sets. Both
series come in 1.2mm and 1.5mm pixel
pitches, provide a contrast of greater than
1,000,000:1, deliver viewing angles of at
least 160 degrees and support a wide color
gamut that covers 97% of the DCI-P3

Latest in DM NVX Encoding Software
Crestron Electronics demonstrated
support for 8K video content distribution
with a software-based solution as the
latest advancement of the Crestron DM
NVX AV-over-IP platform at InfoComm '22
earlier this year. The resolution that 8K
provides has implications for everything
from signage to critical government applications.
The demonstration showcased
the ability to simultaneously encode four
4K streams, enabling the distribution of
native 8K content. Crestron DigitalMedia
content distribution debuted in the digital
age, when 1080p resolution became
the standard; with increased resolution
demands, the DigitalMedia portfolio has
evolved to support the next generation
of resolutions, now up to 8K. The new

Videowall Solution
LG Business Solutions USA has unveiled
a videowall solution using 54-inch,
bezel-free LED Bloc displays that simplify
installation and open up new design
possibilities. In addition to an appearance
unhampered by dividing lines, the new
LSAC Series direct-view LED (DVLED)
cabinets allow integrators to use existing
VESA mounting hardware from previous
LCD installations. The 54-inch DVLED
cabinet is approximately four times larger
in area than most commonly used DVLED
cabinets, and its size allows integrators to
utilize videowall spaces and infrastructure
that previously used 55-inch LCD panels.
LG's first to utilize a 54-inch cabinet, these
600-nit, 2.5mm-pixel-pitch DVLED panels
reduce the total number of cabinets
and connections needed to form the
same-size display. Whereas a traditional
4x4 videowall made from 55-inch LCD
displays requires 16 signal cables and 16
power cables, a comparable videowall
using the new 54-inch DVLED requires
four signal cables and eight power cables.
