This Interior Design fi rm D'Lab Studio based in Toronto inherent challenge in creating hotel guestrooms for Waldorf Astoria Xiamen by celebrating the balance between east and west local culture and with a subtle reference to Xiamen's famous location: Gulangyu Island. The guestroom design combines western architecture and eastern touches. Two color schemes for the guestrooms create a unique vibration to keep the hotel feeling fresh and lively.
