Gildan Launches New Positioning and
Marketing Campaigns for Core Brands
GILDAN, Montreal, has announced the release of its newest positioning
and marketing campaigns for the company's Gildan, American Apparel
and Comfort Colors brands.
Th e change comes at a time when the brands are evolving and
expanding their respective global reach, in line with Gildan's Sustainable
Growth plan.
" We are pleased with the work done to reinvigorate our three core
brands sold in the imprintables channels, giving them a heightened new
look and positioning while paying homage to their strong heritage, "
says Chuck Ward, President of Sales, Marketing, and Distribution at

Gildan is debuting Just Smart as what it describes as the most logical
choice for decorators to drive their business success paying tribute to
its identity as the brand for best value and dependable quality.
American Apparel has similarly launched Th e 2001 and Only
campaign, spotlighting the lines original timeless AA2001 style and
solidifying its position as the iconic premium brand.

Finally, Comfort Colors has introduced what it calls Spread Good
Vibes, which radiate color, comfort and positivity to further enhance
its positioning as the lifestyle brand in the company's portfolio.
Th e new campaigns were unveiled through interactive trade booths
at the recent Impressions Expo event, held in Long Beach, California.
Th e campaigns then followed through with the release of spotlight
fi lms, social media marketing, display advertising and a renewed digital
experience on websites and social platforms. "

Roland DGA Announces Major Expansion of TrueVIS Printer Family
ROLAND DGA CORP., Irvine, California, has expanded
its TrueVIS line, with six new and innovative inkjets.
¶ The newly launched models include the AP-640 resin
printer, the LG-640/540/300 high-productivity UV
printer/cutters, and the value-packed MG-640/300 UV
printer/cutters. ¶ By working together, World Emblem
and Z Customizations, say their combined locations
will cut down on shipping costs to the end consumer.
¶ " The launch of Roland DG's first TrueVIS in 2016
ushered in a new era of image quality, productivity,
dependability and ease of use " says Roland
DGA President Amado Lara. " It quickly became apparent
to print professionals around the globe
that TrueVIS technology would allow them to take
their graphics production to a higher level. Now,
we've expanded our award-winning product line to
accommodate ever-changing consumer demand and
the diversifying roles of print professionals. "

three different ink types: resin, UV and eco-solvent.
Like the TrueVIS VG3 and SG3 eco-solvent
printer/cutters, the new AP-640 resin printer and
LG Series UV printer/cutters are equipped with

AP-640 resin printer combines the quick-drying
and environmentally friendly qualities of resin
ink with image quality and color making it ideal
for a range of applications, including wall décor,
indoor signs, retail displays, stickers and decals,
banners and posters, vehicle wraps and more. ¶ The
new LG and MG Series UV inkjets are built on the
TrueVIS printer/cutter platform. With their White
and Gloss specialty inks, they also allow users
to incorporate dimensional and textural effects.
