Garment: Los Angeles Apparel's Custom Garment Dyed Crew-Neck Pocket Tee (style 1809GD, shown in gold) is made of 18 singles, 6.5-ounce, 100-percent cotton. Design: Printed using plastisol ink, a Rutland M3 mixing system was used with 239°C pantone pink, white, and 310°C pantone blue with a puff additive. Printing was done on an automatic screen-printing press and a print/flash/print sequence was used for the pink and white. The blue with puff additive was printed with two strokes. Equipment: A 60/90/60 triple durometer squeegee was used to print the pink and the blue with puff additive and a 70/90/70 triple-durometer squeegee was used for the white ink. The squeegee angle was 15 percent for each color. The pink and white plastisol ink was printed through Saati HiTex 230 mesh with a tension of 28 N/cm. The blue ink with puff additive was printed through Saati HiTex 160 mesh with a tension of 32 N/cm. An interchange MD-8 gas dryer was used to cure the plastisol ink with the belt speed set at 32 the belt speed set at 32.
