NKBA PRESENTED ITS INNOVATIVE SHOWROOM

AWARDS at the Design + Industry Awards at
KBIS 2021, recognizing the kitchen and bath
industry's most creative, innovative and experiential showrooms in North America, as well
as the creative design professionals - architects,
technology integrators, designers, furniture makers and display experts - who create outstanding
sales environments.

Suzie Williford honored nine showrooms in
six categories.
" Showrooms are the little jewel cases of our
industry - whether large or small, they are often
among the first places a client actually goes, in
person, to start their remodeling journey, " said
Williford. " The best showrooms set a mood,
create a fantasy about what that dream kitchen
or bath might look like and have the personnel
who are experts in the function and technical
aspects of how that dream will actually work.
Operating a successful retail dealership was
quite a challenge in 2020, but the winners of our
Innovative Showroom Awards proved just how
well it can be done. "
The judges included a panel of NKBA members and showroom professionals. They were
Kelly Manas, CKD, senior sales designer for Signature Companies, Northern Virginia; Jeremy
Parcels, AKBD, designer at Christopher's Bath
and Kitchens, Englewood, Colo.; Toni Sabatino,
AKBD, CLIPP, owner of Toni Sabatino Style,
Northport, N.Y.; Ellie Knips, director of channel brand marketing for Cambria, Eden Prairie,
Minn.; and Shaun Ayala, marketing manager at
Best Buy, Torrence, Calif.
