she designs to how she partners with her clients.
JESSE JARRETT is co-owner of Emmaus, Pa.-based
Jarrett Design, where he is responsible for all
aspects of the design process, including
full home renovations and new builds.
He is always eager to reach the install
phase of a project where he excels
in coordinating with contractors and
vendors to bring highly detailed plans
to life. He is Jarrett Design's exclusive
photographer and social media
manager and is part of the National
Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) Thirty
Under 30 Class of 2022.

THIS YEAR'S OVERALL Kitchen & Bath Product of the Year winners
off er simple solutions to specifi c hurdles. Technology that lets you leave the
bathroom while the tub fi lls and elegant and functional wine storage for smaller
spaces - yes please!
We added a ton of new categories this year - equally divided among the kitchen
and bath - and those winning products defi nitely did not disappoint. More compact
choices were also in the mix with the Outdoor Off ering, Laundry Product and Toilet
categories.
Homeowners are paying more attention to things like air and water quality, and they
may desire a cooking appliance choice that off ers more than gas. Th ey are also becoming
more eco-friendly, but they still want a great performance from appliances and fi xtures
that use less water.
Th ey want more functional cabinetry accessories in the kitchen and bath, as well as
smart tech options, which we see here in laundry products, faucets and shower components
- just to name a few. Kid- and pet-friendly options are taking center stage with
such off erings as a fl exible bath faucet and low-maintenance, durable fl ooring options.
Some winners were chosen for aesthetics, which isn't surprising for the Bathroom
Storage & Furniture, Wall Coverings, Countertop, Bath Sinks, Tubs and Decorative
Hardware categories.
Our revered judges had the always exciting challenge of deciding this year's favored
products, and we are delighted to announce KBB's 2022 Product Awards winners.

REBECCA ROBINSON, CKBD, is the CEO and
principal designer of Monarch Lane Interiors, a
full-service design fi rm in Nashville, Tenn.
She launched her fi rm in 2006 with
a focus on residential interiors and
model home design. She is involved
in every aspect of remodeling from
drawing fl oor plans to choosing
colors and selections to managing
contractors and overseeing the design
and construction details. A customer
relationship specialist, she has formed
lasting friendships with her clients, who describe
her as passionate, positive and a problem solver.
DOUG WALTER, AIA, CMKBD, is a Denver-based
architect who has specialized in residential
remodeling for 43 years. He has expertise
in lighting, accessibility, historic
preservation and kitchens and baths.
In addition to writing for industry
publications, he presented at Lightfair
2020 and at six Kitchen & Bath
Industry Shows, including a two-hour
lighting workshop in 2021. He recently
served on a national working group
for NKBA to create the Lighting Badge
curriculum and is now serving on one charged
with rewriting the certifi cation requirements.
