KBA|KBIS® returned to the Las Vegas Convention
Center from Jan. 31 to Feb. 2 with more
than 40,000 attendees. Along with dozens of
educational sessions and networking events,
KBIS 2023 off ered an unparalleled opportunity
to discover the latest products, design trends,
business connections and innovations that will help
accelerate the industry's growth throughout the year.
Design & ConstructionWeekTM
, which includes
KBIS and the International Builders' Show, celebrated
its 10th anniversary this year. Attendance was a clear sign
of the pent-updemand to return to in-person events post
pandemic and the resiliency of the design, building, construction,
remodeling and home improvement industries.
KBIS2023 featured hundreds of brands showing
their new products, and attendees were able to see what's
on trend and cutting edge throughout the massive expo
show fl oor.
More than 1,500 attendees participated in the National
Kitchen & Bath Association's Voices from the Industry conference
program that featured the State of the Association/State of the Industry
keynote session speakers Drew and Jonathan Scott, as well as Bill Darcy,
CEO of the NKBA, who shared their insights and predictions for 2023.
Th e VFTI program, available in-person and on-demand, featured a wealth
of topics on design best practices, future trends, sustainability and wellness,
marketing your business, creating new business opportunities and incorporating
technology solutions into your designs.
Th e Best of KBIS Awards recognized the top new exhibitor product
innovations at the show. Sponsored by Luxe Interiors + Design and hosted
by Luxe style director, Kathryn Given, the top award of " Best in Show " went
to BOCCHI for its Baveno Kitchen Sink System. Th e full list of winners
can be found in our KBIS 2023 section on pages 26-27. We also welcomed
the return of the second annual KBIS Kickstarter Competition with 13
exhibitors showing off their new-to-market products and solutions. Th is
year's winners and judges are covered in our KBIS 2023 section on page 29.
KBIS show management - with the assistance of Charles Pappas, senior
writer with EXHIBITOR magazine, and Emerald's vice president
of marketing, residential and commercial, Rachel O'Connor, selected the
winners of this year's Best Booth Awards. Th e full list and booth photos
are featured on pages 24-25.
