What have you found to be most valuable about your NEWH involvement, both personally
and professionally?
When I was new to the hospitality industry, I quickly learned that NEWH was very literally The Hospitality
Industry Network! I would attend events and quickly start to build lasting relationships with key decision
makers, influencers, and even other sales reps. Our Corporate Partnership with NEWH has also opened
opportunities for me and Delta Faucet Company alike to have greater visibility nationally across the
NEWH network.
What would surprise people about you?
I am an avid waterskier. When I was younger, I competed in Waterski Show competitions, and one of our
signature acts was an all-girls three-tier pyramid on slalom skis. I also competed in college at Texas A&M
University in the waterski jumping event with a personal best distance of 68 feet.

What would people be interested to know about your company?
Delta Faucet Company is one of the largest users and recyclers of brass in the United States. Annually, we
recycle approximately 5,000 tons of brass and 150 tons of stainless steel.
Where do you find inspiration, both inside and outside the industry?
Everywhere, but I mostly get inspiration through the eyes of my 8-year-old son. He is always seeking for
greater understanding and learning on things that are new to him and, with our busy lives and schedules
these days both professionally and personally, it's so important to step back and take pause on the
things that really matter most. I also seek inspiration professionally by attending industry conferences
and listening to speakers who have built themselves up into great leaders. It's so motivating to hear their
stories yet reminds me to always stay humble.
Why do you recommend people get involved with NEWH?
NEWH offers networking opportunities, education, scholarships, career networks, and more. It is the
best organization in the hospitality industry, hands down. One of the main objectives of NEWH is to raise
money for scholarships that are awarded to eligible students seeking to enter the field. Without these
scholarships, many young professionals would not have the opportunity to pursue their dream careers
in this industry. Aside from scholarship and networking, NEWH also offers resources and education
throughout the year on a variety of topics from sustainability to Equity, Inclusion, Diversity, and many
more. I always recommend for our sales reps and industry peers to not only join their local chapters and
attend events, but to get involved and join a committee or the board when they can. You will build lasting
relationships in the industry, while also polishing your professional presence and growing in your career.
When you aren't working or at an NEWH event, where can we find you?
When I'm not traveling for work, I love spending time at home with my husband and son, usually outside
by the pool. I also love doing anything on the water-boating, waterskiing, fishing, you name it! ❙❘❚
