What would surprise people about you?
I bussed tables, ran the buffet, and was the room service cashier at a Sheraton hotel my junior year of
high school. I really think that shaped my love for hotels and hotel design. I grew up very protected and
going to work after school felt exotic. No one from my school was there and I got to serve and work with
people of different races, ethnicities, gender identities, and economic backgrounds that I had only seen
on TV or in movies.
What would people be interested to know about your company?
TODD is a multi-line representation agency covering Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. I started the
company at the end of 2018 with 20 years of design and sales experience and an intense passion for
hospitality. We work hard to make our clients lives easier. I am very proud of the amazing line up of
vendors I have built over the last four years and the future looks bright.

Where do you find inspiration, both inside and outside the industry?
I couldn't be the director of social media without saying I find inspiration on social media, specifically
Instagram. I can see beautiful hotels from around the world while also getting tips and tricks on living with
ADHD. I can find ways to style my daughter's hair then see new fabric patterns and the latest color trends.
Outside of social media, I find inspiration on a long bike ride, spending time with my family, and RuPaul's
Drag Race.
Why do you recommend people get involved with NEWH?
First, I want to stress the word " INVOLVED. " One needs to be involved to understand the real benefits.
Getting involved introduced me to people I would not have met and helped me advance my career. Being
involved with NEWH is a long-term relationship and needs to be nurtured. It has made me a better person
both in business and personally and the value is immeasurable. Shout out to Jillian Van Dresser for
encouraging me to get Involved in 2005
What is your proudest recent NEWH accomplishment?
I have three. First, I worked as a committee member on the social media committee over the last year and
recently became director of social media. Second, I worked with the NEWH Mid-South Region to produce
a successful hotel tour. Third, I assumed the role of president of the Atlanta chapter in 2023!
What are you most looking forward to?
I am most looking forward to watching my daughter grow up. At 5, she is already strong, independent, and
smart (with a lot of sass). I look forward to being able to support her goals and watch her be the best she
can be. For NEWH, I am looking forward to the 2024 Leadership Conference in Memphis. I always get so
much out of these conferences. It has been such an incredible value for my career and personal life.
