Remembering Leslie Temples
We have lost a true icon of our industry, and our hearts are heavy. We not only lost a friend but an incredible woman who had an
enormous impact on the many lives she touched, both inside our industry and among family and friends. Leslie was connected to
the industry for 40-plus years, mentoring countless people along the way. If you ever had the opportunity to work with Leslie, she
very quickly became a mentor and a friend, always caring, willing and able to help. She was able to see a diamond in the rough and
nurture young talent.
Always professional and with discriminating taste, Leslie had a keen sense for innovation and business strategy, supporting the
evolution of the industry. Over the years, Leslie worked for companies large and small and those wanting to enter hospitality. The
common thread to her success was not only her knowledge of operations management, marketing, and sales management, but
her team-building abilities. Leslie's legacy will be the current and future leaders of the hospitality industry, which she inspired and
mentored over her life.

anniversary! Edgar has played an integral role in
the firm's growth and success over the past year.
2. Arianna Leopard recently joined WATG
as an associate principal as part of expanding
team in Texas. She also got married in April at
Mattei's Tavern in Los Olivos, California.

4. Chacko Hospitality Floors welcomes
independent sales representatives Svendja
Wypyszyk of Design Speaks for Colorado,
Wyoming, and Utah; Svetlana Muzaleva
of 1 World Source for Florida; and Carrie
Vagnoni of Carrie & Co. for Maryland, Virginia,
Washington, DC, and Delaware. Wypyszyk; Darci
Sassen, Chacko Hospitality; and Cindy Royals,
Kovet attended the fabulous party in Denver
celebrating NEWH Rocky Mountain TopID and
scholarship awards. It was a sparkly affair!
6. Worldwide Draperies is pleased to
announce the addition of Tom Brassell (left)
to its team.
6. KB Contract Textiles has expanded its
leadership team, with Matt DeShantz joining as
VP, National Sales Director.
7. During Milan Design Week 2024, Studio
Marco Piva, in partnership with Microdevice,
presented an experimental micro-architecture
installation for the Interni Cross Vision exhibition.
Made from sustainable multi-material panels-in
line with the vision of Saint-Gobain Italia-the
Material Tower took an irregular hexagon form.
