What have you found to be most valuable about your NEWH involvement, both personally and
professionally?
Definitely the relationships I have formed with my industry peers. Not only have these people helped
my professional career in many ways, but many have also become close personal friends.
What would surprise people about you?
I come from a family of musicians. My dad is a professional guitarist/vocalist, my uncle is a bassist, my
grandfather was a saxophonist, the list goes on. Holidays are always filled with music, and one of my
favorite hobbies is to learn and play piano.

What would people be interested to know about your company?
Nelson Worldwide recently partnered with Comcast Spectacor on the master planning of arguably
one of Philadelphia's largest current commercial redevelopment projects, the South Philadelphia
Sports Complex.
Where do you find inspiration, both inside and outside the industry?
Inside the industry I look to Hospitality Snapshots. Outside the industry I look literally outside.
I've always been drawn to the connection between indoor and outdoor space and believe that a
successful built space responds respectfully to its natural surroundings.
Why do you recommend people get involved with NEWH?
I recommend NEWH involvement to expand your network tenfold, make genuine friendships, and
have fun in the industry!
What is your proudest recent NEWH accomplishment?
My involvement (along with several other board mates) in the planning and execution of our region's
biggest event to date, our 2022 fundraising gala. We had over 300 in attendance dressed in black tie,
auctioned off more than 35 prize items, and raised more than $40,000 which was funneled directly to
our scholarship fund.
What are you most looking forward to?
Finishing the year off strong with my current board-they are mostly new to NEWH and have all hit
the ground running. I am super proud of them! But also warm weather and getting to the shore soon.
When you aren't working or at an NEWH event, where can we find you?
Darting around Philly. Usually somewhere in Fairmount, Center City, Old City, Rittenhouse or
University City.
