A MESSAGE FROM THE NEWH, INC. PRESIDENT

reetings and Happy New Year to our NEWH international community. It is truly an honor to introduce myself as the
incoming president of NEWH, Inc. at this time of renewal and optimism for our industry. It has been my privilege to
be a part of this organization for 39 years, and it is with great pride and anticipation that I step into this role. Drawing
on the talent, creativity, and tireless commitment of our members and leadership team, I look forward to working together
to do what NEWH does best: provide vital resources and opportunities for education and connection and support the next
generation of hospitality professionals.
2024 is shaping up to be a busy year! Please save the dates and plan to attend these educational, networking, and celebratory events.
NEWH Leadership Conference: Discovery Tour 2024
February 15th-17th, Nashville
I'm looking forward to connecting with the who's who of hospitality professionals, seeing what's new
in product at POWERtalk LIVE, getting inspired by our keynote speakers Scott Stratten and Clodagh,
wrapping things up at a lively NEWH Leadership Conference Closing Party, and of course exploring our
vibrant host city. A big thank you to the Mid-South Region for hosting us. See you in Nashville!

early in their hospitality careers to access personalized guidance from seasoned professionals. Mentorship pairs establish a
strong foundation for growth and development, focusing on career advancement, leadership skills, industry knowledge, and
networking. If this speaks to you, either as a mentee or a mentor, please apply online today.

A resource guide for educational content, including white papers, CEUs, videos, and articles created by NEWH members for
the hospitality industry. Check back often because content is continually being added so our members can stay informed and
current. Please contact us if you have a submission that could educate and benefit our community.
In closing, I want to thank our Corporate Partners for all you do to keep us going. We appreciate your continued support. I
also want to encourage all of you to support and attend our chapter events. Our chapters work hard to provide entertaining
and exceptional events that raise money so we can continue to award scholarships to deserving students. (Over $8.5 million
awarded by NEWH to date, and in excess of $600,000 awarded by our chapters in 2023!)
