The chapter is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of BrandED, hosted for the first time in Italy at the Park Hyatt Milano. The event featured a captivating panel
discussion exploring the Park Hyatt brand strategy, with unique insights from Flaviano Capriotti, founder of Flaviano Capriotti Architects; Simone Giorgi, GM of Park Hyatt
Milano; and Laura Roldán Saso, senior manager EAME brands for Park Hyatt. Their dialogue highlighted innovative projects and forward-looking initiatives shaping the
evolution of this iconic brand.
A special thanks to our brand partners Akula Living, Hypnos Contract Beds, Panaz, and Ulster Carpets, whose support made this event possible and contributed to its
outstanding success. Following this milestone, the BrandED European Roadshow will continue in 2025 with events in Milan, Paris, and London. Stay tuned for upcoming editions!

The chapter held its roundtable and annual fundraiser to celebrate this year's scholarship winners at the Sea Containers Hotel London in October. The 2024 interior design
scholarships were presented to Sofia Calestru, Middlesex University; Song Kee Lee, Northumbria University; and Pamela Sanchez Rodriguez, Kingston School of Art. And for
the first time, the NEWH UK chapter is delighted to introduce a new hospitality management scholarship, awarded to Joanna Savage, University of Gloucestershire. Thanks
go to sponsors Dornbracht, Cruise Ship Interiors, Lutron, and Hypnos Beds for enabling a fantastic platform to network and invest in the next generation.
In addition, the chapter would like to congratulate Libby Bull, senior designer and vice president at ROAM, and NEWH UK executive advisor for being awarded Best Interior
Designer of the Year at the Brit List Awards, held in November at the Ministry of Sound.
