Convergint to Leverage
Camio Search Engine
▶ SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - Convergint
Technologies is partnering with Camio,
provider of a real-time video search engine, to offer its end customers remotely
deployable video surveillance solutions.
Founded by former Google executives,
Camio puts existing cameras to work to
understand the problems that warrant human attention, according to an announcement. Leveraging artificial intelligence
(AI), machine learning and other technologies, Camio turns standard 2D cameras
into 3D sensors that track and analyze
movement, the announcement states.
Tailgating, mask and social distancing
detection, and SOC security solutions
are added to any existing camera without additional on-premise equipment or

complex integrations, according to the
announcement.

differentiate between harmless motion
and potential threats results in much of
the $40 billion spent each year to protect people and property wasted, " states

ADT Commercial Buys Nevada-Based Integrator
SAFE Electronics

▶ BOCA RATON, Fla. - ADT Commercial has acquired Las
Vegas-based SAFE Electronics, for undisclosed terms. Established in 1984, SAFE Electronics has been a family-owned and
operated low-voltage systems integrator, helping to protect
people and property across the state of Nevada, according to
the company.

Vector Flow Debuts Security Automation Platform

▶ SARATOGA, Calif. - In its formal debut to the physical and cyber-physical security market, Vector Flow recently launched what
it bills as the industry's first AI-enabled, data-centric physical security automation platform. The company, based here, also announced a $9.2 million Series A funding round led by Silicon Valley's Mayfield Fund with participation from Foundation Capital.
Vector Flow's platform derives intelligence from physical security data by creating domain specific AI and data-centric models
to automate major security functions related to physical identity
and access operations, SOC automation and cyber-physical security defense, according to a press release.
Vector Flow President and CEO Ajay Jain says the company fills
a void in the physical and cyber-physical security space with the
industry's first AI-enabled platform that aggregates both structured and unstructured data from myriad systems, devices, logs
and journals.
" The platform performs real-time analysis to detect anomalies, trends and KPIs and provides actionable insights, automated
remedies and processes, " Jain says.
The platform is comprised of an application design studio and a
workbench to build applications utilizing Vector Flow's integrated
data lake and machine learning framework. It comes with visual
rules configurator, playbook designer and forms designer to help
customers easily extend business applications or write new applications as their business processes change.
