Qognify Introduces Web-Based
VMS Platform for Ocularis
▶ PEARL RIVER, N.Y. - Qognify has
launched its web-based central VMS
platform, Umbrella, for Ocularis. End
users with large or distributed video
surveillance installations can now use
Umbrella to centrally monitor and remotely
manage and configure VMS installations
across their deployment.
Qognify says as video surveillance
projects become larger and more complex,
they also demand more resources
and incur increasing operational costs.
It adds that modifying the configuration
of multiple sites is time-consuming and
monitoring the health status of all servers
and cameras across every location
is a challenge. Consequently, organizations
frequently overspend on technical
expertise and unnecessary licenses, as
well as potentially exposing themselves
to regulatory risk.
For these reasons Qognify says it
fully integrated with Ocularis and can
be either hosted in the Cloud (e.g.,
on Microsoft Azure and AWS) or on
premise. It provides enterprise organizations

BCD Launches 3-Tiered Customer Loyalty Program
▶ BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. - BCD has established a Customer
Loyalty Program in an effort to accelerate the success and
growth of its partners. The tiered rewards program is " designed
to thank valued security integrators with a number of additional
benefits based on annual revenue generation, " according to
an announcement.
No application form will need to be filled out and submitted.
BCD will automatically enroll eligible customers at the beginning
of each calendar year. To be enrolled, customers must
meet a predetermined revenue goal for each tier level.
The program consists of three different revenue tiers (Titanium,
Platinum and Diamond) for partners that meet or exceed $1
million to $4 million in annual revenue. Integrators eligible for
the program will earn a quarterly rebate based on their annual
revenue goals, as well as gain exclusive access to a variety of
benefits, from expedited support to free ground freight shipping.
Company criteria will be reevaluated every six months. If by
July 1 a company has not met the halfway requirements for that
tier, they will not receive any further benefits. Once a company
reaches the next tier's minimum annual revenue requirements,
they will automatically be bumped up to the next tier.

Vivotek to Bring Spatial Intelligence
to Cameras via Partnership
▶ SAN JOSE, Calif. - Vivotek has formed a partnership with
Pathr.ai, a spatial intelligence company delivering real-time insights
through anonymous location data in any physical space.
" This partnership allows Pathr.ai to engage with Vivotek on
customer cross-sell opportunities, including adding value to
existing camera installations with Pathr.ai use cases and prioritizing
additional Vivotek cameras to support Pathr.ai enabled
use cases, " explains says David Liu, president, Vivotek USA.
Pathr.ai's technology is said to integrate with existing infrastructure,
such as security cameras, and deploys actionable
analytics at scale to capture human behavior inside physical
locations. Use cases include: traffic pattern insights that drive
operational enhancements; real-time alerts that stimulate required
actions without human intervention; and, loss prevention,
operations and revenue generation.
" Allowing companies to leverage their existing camera
infrastructure while gaining actionable business insights into
how people move inside their spaces enables them to drive
