▶ UNIONTOWN, OHIO - Securitas
Electronic Security (SES) has established
a new organization dedicated to meeting
the needs of retail businesses across
North America. The resources dedicated
to the retail vertical will tailor innovative
and leading technology solutions to
meet the unique needs of retail clients in
today's evolving retail environment, the
company says.
As part of this expanded specialization
in the retail market, SES is also launching
new electronic article surveillance
(EAS) solutions and services to retail clients
across North America. The systems
integrator is expanding on the expertise
and experience gained through its recent
acquisition of FE Moran Security Solutions
(FEMSS) and will offer a portfolio
of AM, RF and RFID EAS products.

SES Launches Dedicated Retail Division
aimed at not only reducing inventory
shrink, but also driving better inventory
planning, as well as fully integrated
next-generation retail solutions.
A new sales organization will be led
by Tony Gardner, SES director national
retail sales. Gardner joined SES through
the FEMSS acquisition in December
2020, where he led major client sales,
developed retail focused solutions and
built key technology partner relationships,
including leading EAS providers.
Gardner and his team will fall under the
leadership of Rob Raymond, senior vice
president strategic account sales, who
now leads all financial account sales, retail
account sales and commercial national
account sales.

COPS Acquires Security Partners'
Monitoring Accounts
▶ WILLIAMSTOWN, N.J. - COPS Monitoring recently acquired
the wholesale monitoring assets of Security Partners for undisclosed
terms. More than 100,000 subscriber accounts will be
migrated to COPS and monitored by its network of six UL-Listed
and TMA Five Diamond-certified monitoring stations located
throughout North America.
The assets were purchased at auction on May 27. The migration
of the Security Partners dealer accounts is scheduled to be completed
by early fall and will bring COPS' total monitored account
base to more than 3.5 million.

delivering exceptional service and a stable foundation on which
they can continue to grow their businesses, " says COPS Monitoring
President Jim McMullen, who was elected to the SSI Industry
Hall of Fame this year.
Security Partners is headquartered in Lancaster, Pa., and operates
monitoring facilities in San Antonio and Las Vegas. The company,
operated by SSI Industry Hall-of-Famer Patrick Egan, owed
approximately $14 million to a lender, which filed for " receivership "
in a state court in Pennsylvania, Ken Kirschenbaum reported
recently in his security industry newsletter, The Alarm Exchange.
The purchase of the wholesale monitoring business follows
Brinks Home's deal for Egan's security dealer company, Select Security,
this past December.

ScanSource Adds New Wares
for Healthcare Vertical
▶ GREENVILLE, S.C. - ScanSource announces the addition of new
solutions, educational resources and enablement tools for partners
serving the healthcare industry. The enhancements fall under
