Becklar Boosts Video and AI
Offering via Eyeforce Acquisition
▶ OGDEN, Utah - Becklar - the parent
company of AvantGuard, Armstrongs
and Freeus - has added remote guarding
solutions provider Eyeforce to its
portfolio, the companies announced last
month in a joint press release. Eyeforce
brings together video surveillance, AI/
machine learning analytics and live
audio operator response intervention " to

and loss, " the release says.

Eagle Eye Explains How SECOM's
$100M Will Expand Its Business
▶ AUSTIN, Texas - Cloud video surveillance
provider Eagle Eye Networks
says it will use a recent $100 million primary
equity investment from SECOM
Co. Ltd. to expand its AI-powered products
suite, fund geographic expansion and
enhance its enterprise features. Eagle Eye
says it has made signifi cant advancements
in AI technology with the introduction of
Eagle Eye Smart Video Search, which is
available to all existing and new Eagle Eye
Cloud VMS customers around the world.
Previously released features include
Smart Layouts, which alert security
agents monitoring cameras and highlight
activity, as well as the Vehicle Surveillance
Package and Eagle Eye LPR (License Plate
Recognition). With the investment from
SECOM, Eagle Eye adds it will fund
R&D to support a product roadmap of
next-generation AI solutions, including
worker safety monitoring, smart anomaly
detection, natural language search
and business analysis.
