" By making Staub part of Snap One,
we can bring the Snap One local branch
experience to Canada. With this transaction

technology solutions focused on residential
and commercial A/V integrators, and
automotive electronics installers. Staub
President Scott Trotter, Vice President
Bryan Sack and the entire management

while Founder Dave Mason will retire.

Immix Teams Up to Provide UL 827A Compliance
▶ TAMPA, Fla. - Immix, a provider of commercial central station
and remote SOC software for managed video and security
services, has partnered with Techevolution, a technology hosting
solutions and managed IT services provider.
The partnership will allow Immix central station and security
operations center (SOC) customers to monitor and manage sites
and facilities that fall under the UL 827A standard for security
and life-safety applications. Techevolution is the only data center
that does not also provide central station or SOC services that
holds the 827A designation, according to the announcement.
UL 827A permits existing UL-Listed centers hosted by Techevolution
to earn the additional UL 827A listing. This addition
provides the guidance for a UL 827A-Listed central station to
offer alternative methods related to the structure, location and
implementation of their software and/or hardware, including new
options on the hosting placement and the location of their servers,
software, central station receivers and telephone systems.
Under 827A, centers using Immix can choose to adopt a central
station host structure through Techevolution to include hosting
automation systems, telephone systems as well as receivers in
a remote location. A benefit is that a hosting service can relieve
some of the burden from the central station, alleviating the need
for IT staff experts or incurred costs of routine hardware and
software licensing and upgrades. Outsourcing allows the central
station to focus its resources on service delivery to its customers.

Resideo Acquires Distributor Arrow Wire & Cable
▶ SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Resideo Technologies has acquired
privately held Arrow Wire & Cable for undisclosed terms.
Based in Chino, Calif., Arrow was founded in 1989 and is a leading
regional distributor of data communications, connectivity
and security products. With three warehouse stocking locations,
the distributor serves customers across the West Coast and will
be part of Resideo's ADI Global Distribution business.
" ADI is a critical component to Resideo's long-term growth.
As such, we are strategically investing in the business organically
while simultaneously pursuing tuck-in acquisitions. This
two-pronged approach helps broaden our market reach and
accelerate our growth, " says Jay Geldmacher, president and CEO
of Resideo. " The acquisition of Arrow aligns with ADI's strategic
growth plan of expansion into adjacent categories, marking the
fourth acquisition for our distribution business since 2020 and
second in data communications. "
Resideo says Arrow strengthens ADI's portfolio in the data
communications category with an assortment of copper and
fiber cabling and connectivity, connectors, racking solutions,
network equipment and more.
" We identified data communications as a growth category for
ADI and our customers, " says Rob Aarnes, president of ADI. " Arrow
complements our offering and builds upon our Norfolk Wire &
Electronics acquisition and organic investment to further define
and grow our position in the data communications market. "
