Kenyon Salo as
its 2023 keynote speaker.
Salo has been crafting
his inspirational speeches
based on his extensive adventurous life experiences
for more than 20 years. Th e session
will take place on the ESX Main Stage on
Tuesday, June 6, at the Kentucky International
Convention Center in Louisville, Ky.
Th e plated-luncheon keynote session is
titled, " Th e Bucket List Life: Create More
Experiences, Share More Stories, Live
More Fulfi lled. " Salo's goal is to have attendees
walk away with actionable steps to
help propel business to the next level while
achieving professional and personal goals.

crave! " according to Salo. He is one
of fi ve members of the Denver Broncos
Th understorm Skydive Team and has in
excess of 6,000 skydives under his belt.

Odess Earns SIA Committee
Kudos for Prolific Work

- Th e Security Industry
Association (SIA) has
named Lee Odess, CEO of
Access Control Executive
Brief, as the 2023 recipient
of the SIA Committee Chair of the Year
Award, which recognizes individuals for excellence
in leading SIA committees and advancing
member objectives. SIA will present
Odess with the award at Th e Advance, SIA's
annual membership meeting, which will be
held March 28 during ISC West.
In 2022, Odess was instrumental
in launching SIA's Proptech Advisory
Board - which is designed to foster
engagement between the proptech community
and the global security industry
through partnerships, education
and
thought leadership - and he serves as
the group's chair.

Advisory Board has held a variety
of in-person and virtual meetings since
its launch in 2022. Additionally, Odess
has authored and collaborated on several
proptech-related articles for SIA, helped
produce a series of practitioner conversations
with infl uential leaders in commercial
real estate and led the eff orts around
SIA's Proptech Report, a highly regarded
resource produced in partnership with
CREtech that evaluates proptech trends,
market size and buying interests affi liated
with security solutions in commercial real
estate, including offi ce environments and
multifamily housing.
Odess also assisted in kickstarting the
Proptech Advisory Board Speaker Series
and in developing the " Defi nition of
Proptech " video. He is a prolifi c thought
leader on proptech and has spoken at major
SIA and industry events, including
ISC West and AcceleRISE.

Security, to its Board of Directors. An
accomplished and highly respected
security industry executive, Elkins was
appointed by TMA President Morgan
Hertel to fi ll in a vacancy in the Board of
Directors. Also, TMA appoints David
Morgan to the volunteer position of
co-chair for its Marketing and Communications
Committee. A longtime TMA
member and volunteer contributor,
Morgan is co-founder of SD Marketing,
a California-based marketing fi rm.
Morgan joins sitting co-chair Jake Voll
in the leadership of the Committee.
