AMAG ID Solution Now Integrates
With 3rd-Party Systems
▶ HAWTHORNE, Calif. - AMAG
Technology, an Allied Universal company,
announces that its Symmetry CONNECT
Identity Management solution
now integrates with third-party access
control systems, providing more choices
for users.
Symmetry CONNECT is a policy-based
physical identity and access
management workflow platform. The
company says the platform can accomplish
in minutes what can take days with
multiple emails, phone calls, paper forms
and physical signatures. Using Symmetry
CONNECT, security operators can manage
cardholders and visitors, import access
card data and receive transaction data
from other access control systems.
Symmetry CONNECT is said to meet
Physical Security Interoperability
Alliance (PSIA) standards.
For large enterprise users that operate
multiple access control systems across
an organization, CONNECT is said to
streamline day-to-day operations and allows
users to operate all systems via the
Arcules, Feenics Partner to Deliver Converged
Access Control, Video Data
▶ IRVINE, Calif. - Arcules, a provider of unified, intelligent security-as-a-service
solutions, has integrated the Cloud-based access
control system by Feenics.
Combining the two Cloud systems is said to deliver a seamless,
automated connection that provides advanced levels of insight into
security events across a business' infrastructure. The integration
links Arcules' Cloud-based security platform with Keep by Feenics
to provide users with converged video and access control data.
Joint customers gain access to a unified monitoring experience
and the ability to view live and recorded video and associated access
control data. Stakeholders can also export recorded video
clips and snapshots from the Keep interface.
" Developing fully automated integrations with other Cloud-minded
organizations is an example of our commitment to creating an
excellent user experience, " says Nigel Waterton, CRO, Arcules. " Today,
there is more data available for analysis than ever before and
many times, systems still operate in silos. Allowing joint users to
fully and easily correlate data from access control and video surveillance
gives them a superior security management solution and
lets them focus on the core aspects of their business. "
After installing the Arcules plug-in for Keep's WinApp, users
can view video feeds in the Keep video player, aligning video and
access control data to support video verification events and informed
decision-making.

platform. Employees can use one credential
to open doors, rather than carry multiple
credentials for different systems or facilities.
" Customers now have a choice; they no
longer have to rip and replace their existing
system but can manage all of their access
control systems using Symmetry CONNECT, "
says Jonathan Moore, vice president
of product management, AMAG.
" Future company mergers and acquisitions
are easily managed with CONNECT,
which streamlines and simplifies security
operations for enterprise users. "
Symmetry CONNECT meets standards
by the Physical Security Interoperability
Alliance (PSIA), a consortium of
physical security product companies and
integrators.
