advancements to its Evolv Express system.
According to the company, Version
3.0 of its weapons detection screening
system gives venues both better weapons
detection for their security teams and a
better experience for their guests.

The offering is said to leverage Evolv
Cortex AI, with weapons-detection algorithms
instantly detecting and identifying
a person carrying a weapon without slowing
the flow of visitors carrying their personal
items. This technology is designed

risk for human error.

▶ SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - Convergint, based here, has acquired Premier
Security Group (PSG), a diversified physical security company
servicing the financial market vertical in California, Utah, and
Arizona. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Based in Fresno, Calif., PSG provides a wide range of services
from design and installation to commercial electronic security
and banking equipment maintenance. The company boasts a
strong geographical footprint on the West Coast, providing customer
service to more than 80 financial clients, including credit
unions and banks, totaling in excess of 1,200 branches.
