Smart Door Entryways Continue

▶ MONTREAL - Genetec announces the availability of a new
generation of its Synergis Cloud Link Gateway. The PoE-enabled
Internet of Things (IoT) gateway is designed for access
control applications.

provide organizations with a powerful, secure and intelligent
gateway to the latest technology while allowing them to easily
connect to hybrid or Cloud access control environments and
keep their existing security investment, including hardware,

When modernizing existing systems, the Synergis Cloud Link

Mobile App Commands New
ABLOY Keyless Controller
▶ AUBURN, Mass. - Abloy Oy and ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions
have announced their jointly developed ABLOY Keyless
Access Controller.
The companies explain that with the new controller, businesses
can upgrade their doors to be keyless to make most
electric locks and other electronic door locking devices work
with a digital key on a mobile app instead of a physical credential.
The companies say the controller not only works with
ABLOY products but also with hardware of any brand using
compatible wiring.
The controller conceals the locking mechanism and manages
access without a physical key. Relying on continuous power, this
small device can be installed inside a cabinet or behind a door
and is therefore difficult to manipulate from the outside.
