than 400 pink-clad women
of all ages gathered in central
London to walk four miles
through the drizzle holding
pink signs and pompoms.

TikToker Mia Lind during
California's lockdown in
2020, and promoted the next
year, Hot Girl Walks involve
walking for four miles and
thinking about nothing but
what you're grateful for,
your strengths and how you
aim to achieve your goals.
The NHS notes that
walking briskly for just 10
minutes per day can " build
stamina, burn excess calories
and make your heart
healthier " - all of which are
fantastic for longevity.
Mia says that her events
are also about making
women feel confident and
empowered. In a video on
TikTok, she explains: " A lot
of people think that the Hot
Girl Walk is about weight
loss, but it's not. The biggest
transformations are the
ones that start internally. "

you take up running and
say you'll go five times a
week from week one,
this is unlikely to happen.
