ANOTHER YEAR,
ANOTHER DECADE
Time for some reflection.

HE END OF THE YEAR GENERALLY BRINGS WITH IT A TIME OF
reflection on the events of the past 12 months. This time of the
year should also prompt some forward thinking about things to
come in the up-coming year. How many of you actually write-out (and
follow through with) a few New Year's resolutions? I don't.
At Endeavor Business Media we saw lots of change, prompting lots of
reflection. Our company has grown significantly. Long-time aviation editor Barb Zuehlke decided to retire from AMT and left the company. Barb
is already missed by all. Missy Zingsheim, another long-time figure in our
aviation group, is now also publisher of AMT as well as Airport Business
and Ground Support Worldwide. The aviation group's editorial staff has
increased, AMT is completing its 30th year, and I am completing 10 years
with Aircraft Maintenance Technology - AMT Magazine.
Over the past 10 years, the AMT logo, tagline, features and delivery
methods have all been adjusted. These changes are necessary in order
to not only keep up with the industry, but also trends in the media business and trends in how readers consume information.
However, we have stuck to our core mission of providing you with a
variety of relevant content from general aviation, business aviation, commercial airline, MRO, rotorcraft and military segments that any aircraft
maintenance technician, manager or executive will find useful. Technical
topics, business overviews, industry outlooks, new technologies and
columns from industry leaders can all be found in the pages of Aircraft
Maintenance Technology - AMT Magazine.
Our official website, www.AviationPros.com, along with our newsletters, all contain the latest news and information from around the world
meant to keep you abreast of our industry's news and constant changes.
Over the past 10 years, the number of miles in my frequent flyer
account has significantly grown as I traversed the country and oceans
to attend aviation events, tradeshows and meet some of you, the great
people whom keep our industry flying safely. Like me, AMT staff can be
seen covering the industry.
I personally want to take this time to thank all of our readers, advertising partners, industry contacts and our staff for another great year...
and 10 great years for me.
Here's wishing everyone a great 2019 holiday season, another great
year and another great decade.
