StandardAero Prepares for Increased
Gogo AVANCE Upgrade Demand
StandardAero is designating capacity across its
entire enterprise to facilitate Gogo Classic ATG (Airto-Ground)
to AVANCE system upgrades as Gogo
Business Aviation readies for its network migration.
StandardAero has established a slot program in
which Gogo Classic ATG customers can reserve a
scheduled slot for installation at one of four U.S.based
facilities where they execute Gogo work, including
Augusta, Georgia; Houston, Texas; Springfield,
Illinois; and Van Nuys, California.
" As we balance the increased levels of installation
interest with anticipated lack of available floor space
capacity, we are committed to minimizing maintenance
downtime and mitigating interruptions for

GlobalX and Sheltair To Construct
New Maintenance Facility
Global Crossing Airlines Group Inc. has reached an
agreement with Sheltair Aviation for the financing
and construction of a new aircraft maintenance
facility at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood
International Airport (KFLL). GlobalX expects to
break ground on this new facility in Q4 2023 and
occupy the facility in Q2 2025. Construction cost
is estimated at $25 million.
Barnes Completes Acquisition of
MB Aerospace and Expands Its
Comprehensive Capabilities
Barnes Group Inc. has completed its previously announced
acquisition of MB Aerospace, a provider of precision aeroengine
component manufacturing and repair services serving
major aerospace and defense engine OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers,
and MRO providers.

69,650 square feet of hangar, office and shop
space, providing the capability to hold three A320
family aircraft or one A330-sized aircraft. This facility
is vital to our growth and allows us to perform
maintenance up to C checks on our growing Airbus

Sheltair will design, build, finance and leaseback
the new MRO hangar facility for GlobalX.

MTU Maintenance Opens New
Training Center at Zhuhai Location
MTU Maintenance has officially opened its training
center at the service provider's Zhuhai location
in China. The focus of the center will be training
and educating new recruits in engine maintenance
and professional training in disassembly, assembly
and repair.

expanding our existing training program significantly
with this dedicated area for trainers and trainees, "
said Gert Wagner, President and CEO of MTU
Maintenance Zhuhai. " It is of utmost importance
to MTU to secure a steady influx of well-educated

ensuring that for both our existing and new locations
as we grow. "
The training center will have the capacity to train
100 people per year.

Opens New Engine Shop
AFI KLM E&M's new engine shop at Paris-Orly is
the centerpiece of the Single Roof project, which
includes a full overhaul of operational processes to
boost efficiency in engine maintenance. With the
creation of the ultra-modern building, equipped with
cutting-edge industrial resources, and the implementation
of the new organizational structure, engine
processing times will be reduced by 15%.
