other Alaska companies now
offer employment to hundreds
of individuals through Assets
Inc., enabl ing them to l ive
independently, form friendships and find good jobs.

employees are great employees, they play a significant

City Airport to Become Battle Creek Executive
Airport at Kellogg Field
The city of Battle Creek, Mich.
renamed its airport Battle Creek
Executive Airport at Kellogg Field
(BTL).
The new name indicates the
primary business aviation function
of the airport with the word
"executive." Those involved in the planning also worked
to bring the Battle Creek geographic location back to the
airport's name and included Kellogg Field to recognize
the airport's heritage.

Bruce Goetz Joins TAA As VP of Operations/COO
Bruce Goetz, has been hired as the vice president of
operations and chief operating officer for the Tucson
Airport Authority (TAA). He began his new
role with the authority on Jan. 13.
"Bruce has an impressive background
in the aviation industry and we are very
fortunate that he has joined our TAA team,"
said Danette Bewley, president and CEO of
the TAA. "We are excited for him to step
into this position and continue to shepherd
a safe and eff icient operation at Tucson
International Airport and Ryan Airfield.
He joins us at a time when we are in design
for the largest critical airfield project that the TAA has
ever undertaken, and his experience and expertise will
add so much value to the project and the team."

Mark Doles Named Executive Director of DuPage
Airport Authority
The DuPage Airport Authority board of
directors announced the hiring of Mark
Doles as executive director. Doles had been
serving as the interim executive director
since David Bird retired from his post in
2019.

I'm honored to lead the next chapter of the
DuPage Airport Authority," Doles said. "I

FAA Opens Fire Research Facility in Atlantic City
The FAA opened a new indoor fire research facility in
December to conduct performance tests of potential
replacement fire extinguishing agents.
The fully enclosed fire test facility will eliminate
weather related variables in testing and enhance data
collection capabilities. It will also contain and collect
the byproducts of fire testing chemicals and prevent
any contamination of the surrounding area and ground
water, allowing for more frequent and efficient testing.
