RS&H Hires Tony Pascocello
RS&H hired award-winning designer Tony
Pascocello, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, LC,
as a senior design architect. Pascocello will
help lead terminal design efforts and data
driven strategies throughout the architecture,
engineering and consulting firm.

Preferred Materials Inc. Wins National Airport
Paving Award
The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA)
honored Preferred Materials Inc. of Jacksonville, Fla.,
as winner of the 2019 Ray Brown Airport Pavement
Award for excellence in construction of an asphalt
pavement for the company's work at Jacksonville's
Herlong Recreational Airport (HEG). The company was
recognized Feb. 5 at a ceremony during the association's
65th Annual Meeting.
"The asphalt pavement industry is committed to
building high-quality projects that deliver superior
performance to the traveling public. All contractors'
projects earning a Quality in Construction award are
measured against best practices designed to live up to
that commitment," said 2019 NAPA Chairman John
Harper. "Earning the Ray Brown Award demonstrates
that Preferred Materials Inc., A CRH Co. has met or
exceeded these rigorous standards."

NASAO Announces Greg Pecoraro as New Chief
Executive Officer
The National Association of State
Aviation Off icials (NASAO)
selected Greg Pecoraro as its
new president and chief executive
officer. In this role, Pecoraro will
work closely with the NASAO
Board of Directors and other
state aviation leaders to fulf ill
the organization's mission in
representing the interests of
the states and the public before
federal policymakers. He began his new position Feb. 26.
Pecoraro has had more than 25 years of government
relations and management experience in the aviation and
transportation sectors, both in government and associations.
He served as vice president of government affairs for
the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, as assistant
secretary for administration at Maryland Department of
Transportation.

BNA President and CEO Elected
President of TAACA
Nashville International Airport (BNA)
President and CEO Douglas E. Kreulen was
elected president of the Tennessee Association
of Air Carrier Airports (TAACA) following
a vote of member airports.
Prior to joining the commercial aviation
sector, Kreulen served in the Air Force for
27 years. An Accredited Airport Executive
(A.A.E), Kreulen is a graduate of National
War College with a Master of Science in National Security
Strategy, Troy University with a Master of Science in
Personnel Management and Auburn University with a
Bachelor of Science in Laboratory Technology.

Greater Rockford Airport Authority Recognized
for Excellence in Financial Reporting
The Government Finance Off icers Association of the
United States and Canada (GFOA)
presented a Distinguished Budget
Presentation Award to Greater
Rockford Airport Authorit y
(GRAA), Illinois, for its Annual
Bud get for the f isca l yea r
beginning May 1, 2019.
The award represents a significant achievement by the
entity. It ref lects the commitment of the governing body
and staff to meeting the highest principles of governmental
budgeting. In order to receive the budget award, the entity
had to satisfy nationally recognized guidelines for an
effective budget presentation.
