Team Up in Strategic Partnership
Fortbrand Services LLC and Wille North America Inc.
announced a distribution agreement whereby Fortbrand
will be the exclusive Wille Dealer to all airports across
North America.

"This announcement adds Wille machines and four
season attachments to our wide range of unique airfield
equipment that includes the Vammas line of runway snow
removal vehicles, the Beam multi-task airport service
vehicle and glycol recovery vehicle, the Bergkamp FP5
f lameless pothole patcher and the Prinoth line of snow
removal, snow grooming and summer maintenance

Environmental Achievement Awards
Airports Council International - North America (ACINA) recognized the winners of the 2019 ACI-NA
Environmental Achievement Awards at the Airports@
Work Conference in Salt Lake City. The 2019 award
recipients are Aéroports de Montréal, Billy Bishop
Toronto City Airport, Québec City Jean Lesage
International Airport and San Francisco International
Airport for their work to protect and preserve the
environment through their programs, initiatives,
and projects. San Diego International Airport was
recognized with honorable mention.
Established by the ACI-NA Environmental Affairs
Committee, the awards acknowledge the hard
work and achievements of ACI-NA members by
promoting awareness more broadly within the
airport community, the general public and regulators
of the many notable and innovative efforts being
undertaken by environmental professionals at
airports. ACI-NA annually awards up to four awards
recognizing outstanding achievement in the categories
of environmental management, environmental
mitigation, outreach, education and community
involvement, and innovative/special projects.

Fraport and Deutsche Bahn to Test Artificial
Intelligence, "FRAnny," at Frankfurt Airport
FR Anny is an expert on Frankfurt
Airport, and is able to answer a wide range
of questions - including the correct gate,
the way to a specific restaurant, and how to
access the free Wi-Fi.The robotic concierge
is a cooperative project between Fraport
AG, the operator of Frankfurt Airport
(FRA), and DB Systel GmbH, Deutsche
Bahn's dedicated IT service provider.
A six-week trial at Frankfurt Airport will help evaluate
FRAnny in terms of functionality, customer acceptance and
its practical usefulness in everyday situations. FRAnny is
based on an artificial intelligence and a cloud-based voiceuser interface (VUI) that can be deployed in a variety of
forms - including in chatbots, voice assistants and robots.
This digital customer service system was developed by
a team of Deutsche Bahn IT experts. Using data drawn
from the airport's information system, FRAnny is able to
understand and answer questions relating to travel, airport
facilities and more. FRAnny is well versed in small talk
and can communicate in German, English and seven other
languages.

Nashville International
Airport
JE Dunn Construction has
completed a $102 million,
technology-integrated parking
and ground transportation center
and related improvements at Nashville International Airport.
The new center is a component of the Metropolitan
Nashville Airport Authority's BNA Vision, a $1.2 billion
expansion and renovation plan to accommodate regional
population growth and the airport's passenger increases.
The project was completed under budget and features a
six-level, 2,200-space garage equipped with parking guidance.
Other amenities include electric-vehicle charging stations and
free tire-inf lation location.
