Visa announced an upcoming change to rates for
swipe fees for multiple industries.

AS PART OF ITS LARGEST ADJUSTments to swipe fees for merchants in a decade,
Visa has lowered rates on vending machines,
parking, rent, education and health care,
according to a news report from Bloomberg
on Feb. 4.
Timeline for the rate change
"The U.S. credit interchange structure has been
largely unchanged for the past 10 years," Visa
stated in the document, which was sent to
banks, according to Bloomberg. "Based on the
most recent review in the U.S., Visa is adjusting its default U.S. interchange rate structure to
optimize acceptance and usage and reflect the
current value of Visa products."
The changes in rates, which the company
hopes will expand acceptance of its cards, will
reportedly be implemented later this year in
April and October.

Notes Adjustments
To Earnings
USA Technologies (USAT)
identified favorable
adjustments to previously
reported revenue for
fiscal year 2020. These
adjustments are related
to equipment revenues
for hardware devices and
leasing/rental contracts of
Cantaloupe Systems.
According to a report
from the company, USAT
now expects revenue
between $175 million to
$185 million, up from prior
expectations of $165 million
to $175 million, as well as
