BlueTriton is Nestlé
Waters' new name
The company formerly
known as Nestlé Waters
North America announced
that it has begun operating
under a new corporate
name: BlueTriton Brands.
The renaming follows One
Rock Capital Partners'
purchase of the bottled
water giant on March 31.
BlueTriton consists of the
former U.S. and Canadian
operations of NWNA. Its
packaged spring water
brands include Poland
Spring, Deer Park, Ozarka,
Ice Mountain, Zephyrhills
and Arrowhead, along
with Pure Life and Splash.

UVC-light sanitization
for vending machines
USI's new UVend
Technology makes hightouch surfaces of vending
equipment safer by
employing UV light to kill
or inactivate up to 99.9%
of bacteria and viruses,
including influenza and
the COVID-19 virus. USI
said the patent-pending
technology is proven by an
independent accredited
testing lab to be safe.
It uses an automated
motion sensor to detect
no presence in front of the
machine before activating
the UVC scan. A visible blue
light indicates sanitization
is in process, allowing the
machine to be sanitized.

Capital Provisions
acquires two more
operations
Marriott deploys
novel vending
machine concept
The hotel giant is testing
contactless grab-andgo vending solutions
at two Fairfield Inns in
Maryland. The wall-to-wall
kiosks offer a centralized
marketplace where
guests can buy snacks,
light meals, beverages
and sundries. Fairfield
Inn's complimentary
breakfast offering has
been incorporated into the
vending machine design. A

sandwiches, baked goods,

The southern California
vending and foodservice
provider has completed
the acquisitions of San
Diego Healthy Vending and
Diamond Vending. This is
the fifth acquisition in San
Diego by Capital Provisions.
The new assets will expand
service to educational
facilities, auto dealerships,
hotels and delivery depots.
