nVent SCHROFF supplies systems infrastructure (including racks and enclosures)
to serve OEMs developing simulation, test,
real-time data-acquisition and analysis,
and design-verification tools for the autonomous driving industry, according to
Robert Zeuge, product marketing manager.
Udo Weiss, systems business development, nVent SCHROFF, said many
customers are satisfied with COTS and
legacy products but are challenged when
specific features like form factor, power
entry, and cooling must be adapted to
their dedicated requirements. "Often,
suppliers focusing on large-scale standard
products do not support these requests,"
he said. "We help our customer to meet
the needs of custom features by having a
modular design approach to our system
infrastructure solutions, so the customer
can configure from a predefined toolbox."

Automotive Ethernet-in particular the
transmitter distortion test for 100Base-T1
and 1000Base-T1 compliance. Using
the T3AWG2152, as well as a Teledyne
LeCroy oscilloscope and the QualiPHY,
Compliance Manager, simplifies the testing, eliminating the need for access to the
transmitter-under-test clock (TX_TCKL).

4425A and 4225A diagnostic oscilloscopes, available in 4-channel and
2-channel configurations. Saelig reported that this latest diagnostic PicoScope
design combines the strengths of the
existing 4425/4225 automotive scopes
but adds smart interfaces for powered
and intelligent accessories. The new accessory interface, called PicoBNC+, combines the standard BNC connector with
active digital and power connections.
The 4425A and 4225A will also work with
existing BNC probes and accessories.
Saelig also offers Fotric 326 thermal
imaging camera, which features an f1.0
IR lens. The Fotric 326 has a -20°C to
+650°C measurement range. Accuracy is
±2°C or ±2%, resolution is 384x288 pixels,
and frame rate is 30 Hz. Saelig CEO Alan
Lowne pointed out that thermal imaging
can be useful to make temperature measurements on tires, cylinders, exhausts,
and other functions in a vehicle.
Finally, Saelig offers the Teledyne
LeCroy T3AWG2152 16-bit arbitrary/
function generator, introduced Sept. 1.
