Rhode & Schwarz' NGL200 and
the new R&S NGM200 series
supply stable outputs with
minimal ripple and noise. These
devices switch from a few µA
in sleep mode to several A in
active mode from the fast load
recovery time of less than 30
µs. The NGM200 series has four
new features: A FastLog function
captures spikes even in the µs
range; Additional measurement
ranges increase the read-back
accuracy in the lower ranges;
Battery simulation supports the
modeling of batteries to simulate
real-life conditions; And a built-in
digital voltmeter measures values
at any point in circuits of the DUT.

Optimal Engineering Systems' two
new high precision Z-axis elevator
stages-the AZV9010 and the
AZV9020 motorized Z-axis linear
positioning stages-have vertical
travels of 10 mm and 20 mm,
respectively. The vertical motion
of each Z-axis stage is driven by
an 8 mm-diameter ball screw with
a 1 mm lead, and guided by cross
roller bearings. The stages have
resolutions of 0.1 µm or 0.05 µm,
with 10/20 micro-steps per step
motor drive, and repeatability of
+/- 0.5 microns. Each stage has a
90 x 90 mm table with threaded
holes for fixtures or tooling.

Vitrek introduces QT Enterprise,
a major upgrade to its PC-based
software designed to control
operation of the company's
V7x and 95x lines of highperformance electrical safety
(hipot) testers and 98X Series
insulation resistance testers. In
test situations where multiple
test points are involved, the QT
Enterprise platform can interface
with Vitrek's 964i High Voltage
Switching Systems to further
automate the process. For
complex setups, QT Enterprise
can display detailed instructions
and images to the operator
to ensure proper connections
prior to testing. QT Enterprise
is a feature-rich safety testing
software platform, providing
time- and cost-saving features.

Picotest's J2161A, 2-Way
Wideband Active Splitter enables
2-port shunt-through impedance
measurement on oscilloscopes
such as the Tektronix Series 5 and
6 scopes, which offers a software
add-on (5/6-PWR software) to
enable this measurement in the
frequency domain. The J2161A
supports a typical measurement
bandwidth of 100Hz to 500MHz
and impedances down to 1
mOhmA ground loop exists in
the two-port shunt-through
configuration. The Picotest
J2102B pairs with the J2161A.
The price of the J2102B-BNC is
$699 and the J2102B-N is $799.
