Rohde & Schwarz and Marvin
Test Solutions have cooperated
to create a unique turnkey
solution suited for beamforming
integrated circuits used in 5G
mmWave (FR2) and satellite
communications. The resulting
production tester TS 900e-5G
from Marvin Test Solutions is
based on the new R&S ZNBT40
multiport vector network analyzer
from Rohde & Schwarz. The R&S
ZNBT40 is a multiport VNA with
a frequency range from 100 kHz
to 40 GHz, and characterization of
beamforming ICs with typically 5,
9, or even 17 RF ports.

Picotest has released a new 'FRA
Bundle' of signal injectors that
enables Bode plots and PSRR
(power supply rejection ratio)
measurements for Keysight,
Tektronix, Siglent, and Rohde
& Schwarz oscilloscopes.
The bundle works with the
Keysight InfiniiVision X-Series
with the power measurements
option; Tektronix 5 or 6 series
oscilloscopes using the 5-PWR
or 6-PWR software; Siglent
SDS1000X-E-FG series scopes
with the appropriate firmware
and SAG/SDG AWG support; and
Rohde & Schwarz R&S RTM, RTA,
and RTB oscilloscopes using the
R&S RTx-K36 FRA option.

Cohu introduces Neon, its nextgeneration inspection platform
optimized for small, fragile
semiconductors used in mobility
and consumer applications. Neon
can handle fragile wafer-level
chip-scale products at high speed,
maintaining high operational
efficiency while inspecting small
devices down to 0.4 x 0.2 mm
in size. Neon features extended
process integration capabilities
and can be configured with
infrared and visual micro-scale
defect inspection modules, and
is also equipped with an external
loader unloader to integrate with
factory robots for customers
adopting Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Marki Microwave's MM11850HSM and MM1-1850SSM
double-balanced mixers are
its first 50 GHz surface mount
products. These GaAs MMIC
mixers offer wide bandwidths
and high linearity. With an RF
bandwidth of 18 to 50 GHz and IF
of DC to 21 GHz, these are ideally
suited for electronic warfare,
radar, multiband 5G, and other
K/Ka-band applications. Both
mixers offer excellent spurious
suppression with the MM11850SSM providing the highest
linearity with +28 dBm IIP3. The
MM1-1850HSM and MM11850SSM are offered in a 4x4 mm
SMT package.
