Enhances safety, driver comfort,

The Volvo Trucks Volvo Dynamic Steering (VDS) is
an active steering system designed to lessen steering
force up to 85 percent, helping reduce driver fatigue
and increase road safety, the company says. The
steering system features an electric motor mounted
on top of the hydraulic steering gear. Input from multiple vehicle sensors, at over 2,000 times per second,
determine the appropriate steering wheel response.
VDS is ideal for diverse and changing terrains and
automatically adjusts to handle any roadway condition. With more controlled steering, VDS helps reduce
operational fatigue by filtering road vibration and
noise through the steering wheel.

One-way check valve prevents spillage
The Lang Tools Brake Line Wrench Set, No.
5455, is a 2-pc brake bleeder set that includes
a 1/4" by 3/8" and an 8mm by 10mm ratcheting
wrench for use on most common brake systems.
The ratchet allows for continuous loosening and
tightening without having to remove from bleeder.
The set also includes an 18" silicone hose in which
the inserts will withstand brake fluids. It features
a one-way check valve to prevent spillage.

The NRS Brakes line from Galvanized Brake Pads

Network (TT-CAN) is being added to the company's
TABS-6 Advanced multichannel trailer roll stability system. In a tractor-trailer electronic braking system, the
TT-CAN electronically transmits brake demand from
the tractor to the trailer, resulting in a faster transmission of the brake demand, potentially reducing stopping distance and improving brake feel. Other features
of EBS and TT-CAN include optimization of brake force
distribution between the tractor and trailer; the ability
to control various functions from the cab of the tractor,
such as lift- and steer-axle control; and improved data
sharing between the tractor and the trailer.

Delivers increased pad life
The Meritor N-Type Brake Friction is engineered
for a range of gross axle weight ratings and is validated to offer performance and durability across multiple brake systems. It demonstrated ideal pad wear
and similar rotor life compared to Meritor's current
offering during two years of comprehensive lab validation and more than 2.4 million miles of field testing,
the company says. The friction fits Meritor EX+ L and
EX+ H air-disc brakes for truck and trailer applications
and is interchangeable with A-level MA761 pads.
N-type friction currently meets the copper compliance laws that requires reduced copper content in
brake pads in California and Washington by 2025.

kingpins found on most Mack front axles (12,000 lbs,
