TruckLabs updated the TruckWings (Gen 3) automatic tractor-trailer gap
closure device for easier installation and operation. The per-assembled system
cuts install time from eight to two hours. Other improvements include IP67rated
sensors and wire harness, a double-hinge configuration to cut weight, and
quick-service bushing. The aerodynamics device provides on average 4-6% fuel
efficiency savings while in operation. The aluminum flaps pneumatically deploy
using the truck's air system at speeds over 52 mph, and retract
when truck speed drops below 50 mph.

diesel truck, from current models dating as far back
as 2010, including highway and work trucks. It is a
combination of exhaust plumbing and " dual induction "
of a portion of the tailpipe exhaust back into the
engine cylinders. The chemical engineering of this
approach releases alternative energy in the combustion
process, which decreases fuel consumption and
emissions. There is no interaction with or alteration of
OEM systems on the vehicle. Benefits include lower
soot levels inside the engine and a gain in power.
