Registration

The International Air Transport Association
(IATA) awarded dnata USA the IATA Safety
Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) registration, following the successful completion
of a comprehensive audit of the company
at its Orlando headquarters and its ground
handling operations at San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

ground handling companies serving airlines

loading and aircraft ground movement.

NATA Announces Free Safety
1st Clean Standard

The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) presented Safety 1st Clean - an
infectious disease response cleaning standard for fixed base operators (FBOs). The
Safety 1st Clean standard is free to the public

and produced by
the NATA Safety
Committee and
COVID Task
Force to provide
general guidance on facility cleaning, disinfecting, and facility operations in response
to a pandemic. The goal of this standard is
to safeguard FBO team members, corporate
assets and the general flying public.
"The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic
around the world brought the entire aviation
industry to a grinding halt in a way that
many of us were unprepared for," said NATA
senior vice president Ryan Waguespack.
"As flight activities continue to increase,
NATA felt it was critical to develop and provide Safety 1st Clean for free to the entire
business aviation community to maintain
safe and successful operations moving forward and to be better prepared for future
outbreaks."
This standard represents industry best
practices and government agency guidance.
The Safety 1st Clean standard also provides a
self-certification process that allows FBOs to
highlight their conformance to this standard
by displaying the Safety 1st Clean logo.

Swissport Secures Support
Under U.S. Cares Act

Swissport North America Inc. has agreed to
a Payroll Support Program (PSP) agreement
with the U.S. Department of the Treasury
under the
CARES Act.
Under the
terms of the
PSP Agreement, Swissport expects to receive
a total of $170.4 million (USD) of financial
assistance, of which $111.9 million will take
the form of a grant and $58.5 million will
take the form of an unsecured, non-amortizing 10-year promissory note.
Swissport expects that the proceeds from
the PSP agreement will be disbursed by the
Treasury in three installments. The PSP
agreement provides, among other things,
that the PSP funds must be used exclusively
for the continuation of payment of wages,
salaries and benefits to qualified employees
of Swissport in the United States. The PSP
