operations at the facility in November.
"The property meets the stringent
requirements of a cutting-edge air cargo
handling facility," said Felix Kreutel, head
of real estate and energy at Fraport AG,
during the hand-over ceremony. "The
warehouse connects the airside and landside areas of the airport through separate
freight yards. Moreover, its groundbreaking material-handling system represents
an important step in the continued automation of our freight processes. Equipped
in accordance with the strict criteria of
the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the new cargo center is also
expected to be CEIV pharma-certified
after going into operation."

we will be in a position to handle the cargo
of our customers in Frankfurt in one of
Europe's most state-of-the-art air cargo
centers," added Willy Ruf, SVP central
and eastern Europe at Swissport International AG. "Our new cargo warehouse
has 50 percent more handling capacity
and is therefore a commitment to growth
at Frankfurt Airport. With the integrated
Swissport Pharma Center, which has several cooling zones, we are well-equipped to
satisfy the stringent requirements for the
temperature-controlled transportation of
medicines and vaccines."

GLS - NAS Receives its First
ISAGO Certification

The Global Logistics Services Inc. (GLS)
and National Aviation Services (NAS)
joint venture company, GLS - NAS,
received its first IATA Safety Audit for
Ground Operations (ISAGO) certification,
for operations at Roberts International
Airport in Monrovia.
The ISAGO certificate is an internationally recognized system for assessing

operational management and control
systems for ground handling service providers. This ISAGO certification is a major
achievement for GLS - NAS that managed
to clear the rigorous audit process for the
first time despite being challenged by the
COVID-19 pandemic.
"GLS NAS is pleased to be awarded
its first ISAGO certification. With the
COVID-19 pandemic gripping the world
and the closure of airports, we faced several challenges," Axel Coulibaly, general
manager of GLS - NAS, said. "However,
with our adaptability and resilience, we
continued to serve the aviation industry in
the country to meet its full potential and
keep essential supply chains in the country moving."

GLS - NAS has been operating in Liberia since October 2017, providing cargo
handling services. In April 2019, the joint
venture broke ground in Monrovia for a
new 2,700 square meter cargo terminal at
Roberts International Airport (RIA).
"This ISAGO certification is a significant milestone, a vindication and a
validation of the shareholders' long-term
commitment to building a vibrant, safe
and efficient aviation sector in Liberia,"

dnata Quadruples Catering
Capacity in Dublin

dnata has commenced operations at its
new catering unit in Dublin. The new
facility quadruples dnata's catering
capacity in the Irish capital, enabling

the company to deliver 40,000 in-flight
meals a day for customers. Already serving six airlines from its existing facility
in Dublin, dnata's continued expansion
underlines its long-term commitment to
Ireland and the local aviation industry.
Covering an area of 6,300 square
meters, dnata's new facility is located in
the Dublin Airport Logistics Park - near
its existing operation. dnata's expansion
comes as a result of an agreement with
Aer Lingus, which sees it now provide
inflight catering services to the airline at
four airports in Dublin, Shannon, Cork
and Belfast. dnata is working closely with
Aer Lingus and its other partners to flexibly meet constantly changing demand
while ensuring the highest possible level
of safety across its operations amid current
global challenges.
"It is great to be operational at our new,
ultramodern catering center, the 65th
production facility in our global network.
Despite the impact of COVID-19, our team
and our partners have managed to deliver
a quality operation on budget, as planned,"
Robin Padgett, dnata's divisional senior
vice president for catering, said. "We look
forward to serving more customers in
Dublin, both in the air and on the ground,
with a team of highly-experienced culinary professionals."
dnata entered the Irish market in 2010
when it acquired Alpha Flight Group,
which included a facility in Cork. Over the
past 12 months dnata has also invested significantly in specialist catering equipment
manufactured in Dungannon, Northern
Ireland, purchasing more than 60 vehicles
which are now in use across its global
catering network.
