Swissport Expands U.S.
Network with New Presence

Swissport has successfully started operations
at Bergstrom International Airport
(AUS) in Austin, Texas. Swissport is now
present at 44 airports across 25 states
in the U.S. In Austin, Swissport teams
up with its U.S. subsidiary Hallmark,
responsible for passenger services like
check-in and gate, whereas Swissport's
own staff will be serving airline customers
on the ramp with services like the
loading and unloading of baggage, fueling,
aircraft cleaning and movement of
aircraft/pushback.

Agreement to Accelerate
Progress Towards Net Zero
Shell and Rolls-Royce signed a memorandum
of understanding (MoU) which
aims to support the decarbonization of
the aviation industry and their progress
towards net zero emissions. In recognition
of the scale of the challenge, the
MoU will expand and accelerate several
existing areas of cooperation between
the companies such as advancing the
use of SAF. This includes Rolls-Royce's
new SAFinity service, for which Shell is
the exclusive SAF supplier, and working
together on demonstrating the use of 100
percent SAF as a full " drop-in " solution.
This will see the companies explore
opportunities to help progress the use of
100% SAF towards certification, building
on Rolls-Royce's ongoing 100 percent
SAF testing program.

Rolls-Royce and Shell is a strong foundation

it comes to our shared ambitions for
achieving net zero emissions, " said
Anna Mascolo, president, Shell Aviation.

Gazprom Neft Restarts
Refueling at Egyptian Resorts
Gazpromneft-Aero, the aviation fuel
operator of Gazprom Neft, has restarted
the refueling of international flights in
Egyptian resort cities including Sharm
El Sheikh and Hurghada under a new
agreement with Misr Petroleum, the
Egyptian national fuel supplier.
The new deal builds on a long-term
partnership with Misr Petroleum dating
back to 2009. During the partnership,
the total volume of aviation fuel supplies
for servicing Russian and foreign airlines'
flights at eight international airports in
Egypt has exceeded 180,000 tons.
" We look forward to the gradual recovery
of international air traffic and are
ready to support 'into-wing' refueling
of our partners' flights, both in Russia
and abroad, " said Vladimir Yegorov,
Gazpromneft-Aero's CEO. " In Q1 2021,
Gazpromneft-Aero restarted the servicing
of Russian airlines in the United
Arab Emirates and Cyprus. With the
resumption of flights to popular Egyptian
resorts, we expect an increase in
passenger traffic as well as in the number
of flights from Russia in the coming
months. "
