Havaş Renews its ISAGO Certificate in Riga
Offering full-fledged ground handling services at
Riga Airport, including luggage, ramp, deicing, aircraft
cleaning and general aviation activities, Havaş
has once more been awarded a renewed IATA's Safety
Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) certificate.
For the ISAGO certificate that documents the conformity
of operation safety standards to the international
norms, Havaş's activities went through audits
in terms of organization and management, load control, passenger and baggage handling,
aircraft handling and loading as well as aircraft ground movements.
" We have been operating at Riga Airport since 2010. With the synergy we created together
with ADP and TAV Group, we transfer all our experience and know-how to our Riga operations
as a company, which has been operating in this sector for years, " said Havaş general
manager S. Mete Erna.

PrimeFlight Acquires Global
Aviation Services' Canadian
Operations
PrimeFlight Aviation Services, through its
Canadian subsidiary, acquired the stock of
Global Aviation Services, Inc. (Canada).
This acquisition expands PrimeFlight's
Canadian footprint, adding service at seven
airports. The related Global Aviation Services
entity that includes U.S. operations was not
acquired in this transaction and that entity
will be required to rebrand.

Menzies Cargo Progresses with
New CEIV Pharma Accreditation
Menzies Aviation announced that its cargo
operations have received a further Center
of Excellence of Independent Validators
for Pharmaceutical Logistics accreditation
(CEIV Pharma) as recognized by IATA. This
accreditation is for Menzies' Melbourne base
and marks the company's second accreditation
in Australia.
The accreditation is a formal endorsement
to safely handle pharmaceuticals transported
from all over the world into Melbourne.
With a team of 100 employees, the
base handles annual throughputs of over
100,000 tonnes of cargo from key partner
airlines, and the certification represents an
opportunity for potential future expansion
