as the new director
of procurement,
where he will lead
Art Torres
a department of
20 employees that
oversees the purchase of all goods and
services for the agency. The department
also maintains and manages an extensive
parts warehouse to support maintenance
of the agency's bus fleet. He brings more
than 20 years of procurement management experience and was most recently
employed as a senior manager in contracts
administration at the Los Angeles County
Metropolitan Transportation Authority,
where he learned how to work within the
Federal Transit Administration's guidelines.

MJ Maynard has
been appointed as
the new CEO of the Southern Nevada
RTC following a unanimous approval
from the board of commissioners. Her
priority in her new role is to provide
a sustainable, efficient and accessible transportation system that meets
the mobility needs of the region. She
brings more than 12 years of service
and most recently served as the deputy
CEO. She succeeds retiring CEO Tina
Quigley and began her new role effective immediately.

selected Jeffrey
Tumlin to be the new director of
transportation after conducting an
international search. Tumlin has spent
his career helping organizations around
the world clarify their values and align
their operations with those values. Most
recently, he worked as a principal at
Nelson/Nygaard Consulting Associated where he led dozens of detailed
neighborhood plans. He's currently
leading the San Francisco Transportation Authority's downtown congestion
pricing study.
