Tolar Manufacturing Baltimore
Tradepoint - Niagara Shelters
Tolar Manufacturing Company
designed and built nine
Niagara Series transit shelters for Tradepoint Atlantic.
The 16-, 32- and 48-foot
shelters are customized
with modular flexibility and
configurations up to triple
wide options, accommodating varying footprints. The
design incorporates double
windscreen walls made of
protective polycarbonate and
perforated panels, under roof
security lighting and overhead
208V electric 2500W infrared
heaters with controls. Tolar
designed and incorporated
the Tradepoint Atlantic logo
into the shelter framework
to create a Sense of Place
for transit riders, the developer and the community.

Urban Solar PV Stop+
The PV Stop+ is a standalone
security lighting solution for
unsheltered bus stops that
increases safety and reduces
pass-bys. Compatible with
any existing transit pole, the
PV Stop+ delivers dusk to
dawn lighting and optional
power for e-paper signage.
Featuring a 20W solar
panel and a 20Ah lithium
ion battery, the PV Stop+
offers twice the brightness
of previous generation
systems and an estimated
battery replacement interval
of 10 years. The PV Stop+
comes standard with two
powder coat colors. Options
include cloud-based
control and monitoring
of lighting and signage.

Model SA-XS Hinged Type Derail

The new Model SA-XS* hinged derail is fabricated from
steel, but is longer than the current EBX type derail.
The longer design of the SA-XS provides a bi-directional
derail with a deflection angle similar to our single
direction derails.
We have added an assist spring and
hand grip to the design of the SA-XS to significantly
reduce the effort required to apply and remove the derail
from the rail. The Model SA-XS is manufactured in sizes
to fit today's most popular rail section. Please contact
Western-Cullen-Hayes for more information on all of
our derail products.
