The Tire Mechanics Resource Air
Operated Elevating Heavy Duty Tire
Spreader uses shop air to easily lift and
repair large truck tires. The pneumatic
lifting table can raise the tire to the ideal
inspection and working height. By adjusting
the clamp arms and rollers as well as
the pneumatic lift table allows the operator
to repair all tire sizes (passenger, small
and large truck) to perform tire inspection,
cutting, buffing, cleaning, patching,
and more. The tire spreader is adjustable
in five stages with a maximum enlargement
at 13.8 " . It has a maximum elevating
height of 26 " , and features an adjustable
light, a movable tool rack, and adjustable
clamping arms and tire rollers. n

It's powered by one 40V XGT battery, but
the two-battery bay will accommodate a
second 40V battery for extended run-time.
The vacuum has a variable speed control

The Hunter Engineering WinAlign 17.1 Software
Update provides two benefits for Hunter
Quick Check Drive and Quick Check Commercial
unmanned inspection system customers. First, it
bridges the gap between passenger vehicle and heavy
duty inspection systems by measuring those trucks too
heavy or wide for the passenger tread system, but not
tall enough for the full HD system. The new configuration
allows for medium duty vehicles, such as bucket trucks,
to be accommodated on Hunter's Quick Check Drive
unmanned inspection system. Secondly, its dual license
plate capture gives fleet customers the ability to track
the tractor and trailer as separate assets. n
