I
n 2008, CanDo International Inc. was formed as a division
in a much larger automotive aftermarket tools corporation
and was responsible for manufacturing and private labeling
diagnostic tools for companies such as JS Products, Napa
and Autozone. Fast forward to 2012 and 2013 when C.A.R.B.
mandated after-treatment systems for trucks and the A.R.B.
mandated On-board Diagnostics for class 4 thru 8 vehicles.
A resulting boom for diagnostics for commercial vehicles
ensues and CanDo Diagnostics Inc. is born. Today, we are
based in Los Angeles, CA. with research & development networks
located around the globe.
To this day, there is still no true Right-to-Repair for the commercial
vehicle and off-highway equipment market. Furthermore, little to
no standardization exists for diagnostic protocols. Manufacturers of
such vehicles and equipment are still trying their best to keep repair
information proprietary. Dedicating over 90% of our resources
to the development of cost-effective and easy-to-use Diagnostic
solutions for this market enables us to have the widest, deepest
and, most importantly, the most up-to-date coverage in our tools.
We recognize the importance of providing true solutions for the
Commercial Vehicle and Off-highway market, however we are
