Q: How did the tool/equipment
function as far as saving you time?
A: It's incredibly fast. The auto detect feature
was swift and a full vehicle scan can
be done in a very short time.
Q: What kind of setup was involved
before using the product?
A: There wasn't much setup at all. You
sign into or create your account, update
the tool, and then get to work.
Q: How easy was it to use?
A: Since I was already familiar with these
scanner tools, it was effortless. However,

The Autel MaxiCheck MX900 is an
8 " touchscreen, all-systems scanner,
and service tablet, compatible with
U.S., Asian, and European vehicles,
1996 and newer. This corded tablet
can read and erase codes, view freeze
frames and view and graph live data,
and perform bidirectional active tests
and special functions. The MX900 is
also a full-featured service tablet with
more than 40 service and maintenance
tasks, including brake bleed, oil and
service light resets, battery registration,
DPF regen, and electronic parking
brake and steering angle resets. The
MX900 runs on Android 11 and is powered
by a 1.8 GHz processor. It comes
with one year of free software updates
and a one-year limited warranty.

I'm sure even someone using this for the
first time will be able to navigate the tool
with very little assistance.
Q: What types of jobs/repairs
did you use this tool for? Please
provide a few specific examples.
A: I used this tool for everyday troubleshooting
of European vehicles. From
BMW, Mercedes, and Range Rovers to
Toyotas and Cadillacs.
Q: How was its packaging? Did it
come with any accessories?
A: The scanner came in a blow-molded case
with only the OBD connector and charger.
Q: What features did you like?
A: It has fast speed, a portable size, and is
loaded with functionality.
Q: Is there any way you could think
to improve or add to this tool?
A: Given the price range, this tool is a great
deal. I don't think I could improve on it.
Q: On a scale of 1 to 10, how would
you rate this tool overall? Why?
A: Nine, because it's well-priced, portable,
fast, and loaded with bidirectional capability.
The only thing is that it is a wired setup. A
wireless dongle would be a nice inclusion.
