PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The Sonic Tools NEXT Generation
Combination Wrenches feature a stronger
and more durable construction than the previous
model, the company says. They are
made from tough and durable Chrome
Vanadium steel for long-lasting use and are
resistant to rust and corrosion. The open
end provides access to fasteners that are
difficult to reach with a socket, while the box
end is a 12-point design to quickly grip fasteners
and provide multiple angles of attack.
Sonic wrenches are backed by a lifetime
warranty.

THE REVIEW:
Q: How did the tool function as far
as saving you time?
A: The offset of the boxed end of the
wrench is helpful. There is more depth
there which can be helpful if working with
a recessed fastener.
Q: How has using this tool impacted
your shop's profitability?
A: When compared to using another
brand of combination wrenches, the offset
boxed end is an advantage that can save
you time.
Q: How was its packaging? Did it
come with any accessories?
A: I received three wrenches. Each
wrench had a plastic hanger which I assume
is used for displaying the wrench in a retail
store or in a distribution warehouse. They
didn't come with any accessories.
Q: What features did you like?
A: I like that they're lightweight, have a
comfortable feel, and matte finish.
Q: Is there any way you could think
to improve or add to this tool?
A: The lightness may give a user the
impression that they might be made of
a cheap material and will not be a longlasting
product. If they do last, I don't
have anything negative to say other than
they may give a user the impression that
they're made with less material and may
not be a lifetime wrench in a professional
environment. Also, when you see Chrome
Vanadium engraved, laser etched, or
embossed into a tool, it traditionally has
meant that you have yourself a cheap tool.
I would recommend removing that from
the tool.
Q: What types of jobs/repairs did
you use this tool for?
A: I was able to do several wheel alignments
with the sizes of wrenches we
received. I also used them to remove the
PCV system on a Volkswagen for a visual
inspection due to a valvetrain noise.
Q: How does this tool compare to
other tools you've used like it?
A: These wrenches are lightweight
and have a matte finish which makes the
wrench comfortable in your hand. The
offset box end can be helpful when working
with fasteners in recessed areas.
