Meet the Team

Michael A. Gow BDS (Gla) MFDS RCPS
(Gla) MSc Hyp (Lon) PGCert (Edin)
DentaltownUK Editor Michael A. Gow
graduated from Glasgow University Dental
School in 1999 and is a member of the
dentistry faculty at the Royal College of
Physicians and Surgeons (Glasgow).
Gow has a master's degree in hypnosis
applied to dentistry from the University
of London and a postgraduate certificate
in management of dental anxiety from the
University of Edinburgh.

Zaki Kanaan BDS MSc DipSed
LFHom (Dent)
Zaki Kanaan qualified in 1996. He has a
master's degree from Guy's with diplomas in
sedation and hypnosis, and is a licentiate of
the Faculty of Homeopathy.
Kanaan is joint principal dentist at 
K2 Dental, where his main area of interest
is dental implants.
He is a past president of the British
Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Because
of his expertise in tooth whitening, he has
been appointed a UK dental advisor to
Philips Oral Healthcare.

Guy Laffan BDS, PGDip Implantology
Guy Laffan graduated from Bristol in 2010
and now works in his family's practice,
Laffan Dental Care, one of the oldest in
south Wales.
Laffan is writing his dissertation for a
master's degree in dental implantology at
Cardiff University, and also studying for a
diploma in oral surgery in Bristol. He is one
of the highest providers of Invisalign in
south Wales and has been advancing himself
in the field of fixed orthodontics for the past
three years. He also is a member of the
Gwent local dental committee.

Rahul Doshi BDS (Lond.) LDSRCS (Eng)
Rahul Doshi qualified in 1991. He is the
clinical director and founder of The Perfect
Smile Studios and the Advanced Training
Institute, where he teaches interdisciplinary
comprehensive aesthetic hands-on dentistry.
Rahul is vice president of the British
Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and clinical
advisor to the British Institute of Laser
Dentistry. His main interest is cosmetic
dentistry that involves minimal or no
preparation of veneers, management of
the worn dentition, and interdisciplinary
dentistry. He lectures on these topics
nationally and internationally.

Kishan Sheth
Kishan Sheth is a fourth-year dental
student at King's College London. He has
been published in several international
dental magazines, as well as the
international peer-reviewed Journal of
Dental Health, Oral Disorders and Therapy.
Sheth has presented nationally and
internationally, has worked with brands
including Colgate, Henry Schein and
Honda, and has spoken alongside
PhD-level students for the London
Materials Society.

Andrew Wallace BDS (QUB)
MClinDent Prosthodontics (KCL)
MFGDP (RCS Eng)
Andrew Wallace qualified in 1998. In 2015
he earne'd a master's degree in clinical
dentistry in prosthodontics from King's
College London, and in the same year
gained his MFGDP.
Wallace is a partner at Bachelors Walk
Dental, where he has a particular interest
in aesthetic and restorative dentistry.
He lectures internationally on cosmetic
dentistry, including cosmetic tooth
alignment and tooth whitening.
