Drs. Kyoto Takemoto and Giuseppe Scuzzo, Alias offers an aesthetic alternative to labial brackets or aligners, but with the efficiency of straight-wire
mechanics. Alias' unique square slot allows for optimized movement and
the greater interbracket distances make the aligning stage easier. While
also offering a bracket that is easier to bond, especially on small, maloccluded incisors, Alias encompasses the design features that make lingual
orthodontics easier and more efficient.
Demi Plus-powered by Demetron Technology pioneered by our sister
company, Kerr-has been at the forefront of light-curing since its inception. With a lightweight, balanced, ergonomic design and intuitive controls,
DemiPlus brings sophisticated engineering, enhanced performance and
efficiency to the orthodontist. Multiple holding options are designed to
reduce fatigue and make it easier to access the posterior.
Demi Plus features three time settings: 5, 10 and 20 seconds, with
audible beeps after 5 seconds. For optimal curing, place the light guide as
close to the bracket as possible and ensure the light guide is clean and free
from debris.
Offering a true 5-second cure for composite shades A3 and lighter, the
Periodic Level Shifting (PLS) technology shifts output intensity from 1100
mW/cm2 to a peak of 1330 mW/cm2 multiple times throughout the curing
cycle, which ensures optimal polymerization without generating excess
heat. The whisper-quiet fan and unique thermal control system keep the
unit cool for uninterrupted operation, also extending its overall life.
The advanced battery technology means the lithium-ion battery can
yield 300 10-second cures with a single charge. And the three-year warranty ensures you get the most value out of your premium investment.
