9/24/2017 I hate these kinds of cases. You can't intrude the upper incisors or you will make her have less of a smile than she has now. So, you have to intrude the lower incisors. I'm going to leave that to the San Antonio kid. ■ zxzxzx Member Since: 02/28/03 Post: 2 of 7 9/24/2017 I would agree with Charlie. The upper incisors need to be retracted but there is not enough overjet to facilitate space closure. IPR + lower incisor intrusion with some BRT can help get adequate clearance to retract the upper. I'd start off with a lower IA to the lower 2-2 and then move to continuous arches with step bends in SS (19 or 21x25) to step down the lower 3-3. Once you have enough clearance, you can use a T-loop archwire on the upper with step bends to control incisor extrusion during space closure (see attached example). Once the OJ is idealized, you can extrude the upper incisors to the desired vertical. ■ Fenrisúlfr Member Since: 02/25/09 Post: 3 of 7 orthotown.com \\ DECEMBER 2017 21http://www.orthotown.com
