2thnwire David, what exercises do you recommend in your practice for this situation? ■ 3/28/2018 Member Since: 12/25/11 Post: 4 of 8 drbojengles I think there are a few ways to treat this. All would probably work. 1. Myofacial exercises (which in a patient who wasn't really compliant with a positioner I don't put a lot of stock in). 2. Tongue crib with spurs (may take some time, but she is only 8.5). 3. Maxillary and mandibular 2x4. Retract the lower incisors and consolidate U2-2, leaving spaces distal to the laterals. Probably use tongue tamers on lower incisors while retracting. Retain with LLA with spurs if needed. (My preferred method.) Just my 2¢ ... Well, looking up at other posts, looks like fesdds and I were on the same wavelength (so +1 to that post). ■ Member Since: 08/31/11 Posts: 5 and 6 of 8 3/28/2018 I would start with a simple one like this. This also is pretty good. Must make parent responsible. Once you start looking and making it a part of every day, it gets easier.
