message board Would You Attempt Non-Extraction On This Case? Should the 5s stay or should they go? Thank you in advance for your input. n 3/7/2019 justinudm Member Since: 09/29/14 Post: 2 of 14 I would be thinking extractions. The lower second molars don't appear to have room to fully erupt. Likely an U4s/L5s extraction case. Or possibly a 5s extractions case, depending on your mechanics. n 3/7/2019 zxzxzx Member Since: 02/28/03 Post: 3 of 14 Airway looks suspicious: large adenoids and maybe large tonsils. Ask any sleep questions of the parents? Does the general dentist worship in the Church of Rouse? For me, this is a Ludwig-style TAD-based expander (two palatal screws), then extract the 5s and leave the expander in for anchorage to stabilize the upper 6s. Since I am an MBT guy (also Tip Edge), I would turn the lower incisors upside-down to give him labial crown torque to help protract the molars. n 3/7/2019 emac Member Since: 11/21/11 Post: 5 of 14 20 MAY 2019 // orthotown.com Exo 5s for me with expansion in the AWs. n 3/7/2019http://www.orthotown.com
